About Michael
Thanks for stopping by.
I’m a visual storyteller who specializes in helping nonprofits effectively communicate their missions, issue advocacy and outcomes.

On the Road to Mendocino
By combining documentary photography, writing and digital marketing, I create and execute programs that help organizations:
- Acquire and retain donors
- Grow brand awareness
- Strengthen community engagement
- Keep board members informed
I have more than 20 years of marketing experience, with 10 as an independent consultant, plus 30 years as a photographer. I’ve had numerous photographic exhibits and my writing has appeared in executive blogs and national trade publications.
Credential wise, I hold a BS degree in Management from Suffolk University and an MS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additional course work includes advanced photography at The Worcester Center for Crafts, master-class photography at The Maine Media Workshops, marketing communications at Clark University and nonprofit fundraising at UConn.
